Highlights of their visit.
On June 10th, a group of friends arrived in Honduras.
Pastor Ted Scheve lead the team from Celebration Church in Raleigh, NC.

On Tuesday, we bagged beans and rice and went door to door sharing the gospel. 6 people were saved.
Wednesday, we visited local schools in the morning and gave each child a toothbrush and toothpaste.
In the afternoon, our community youth came for a movie and more came to faith in Christ.
Thursday, we sorted and bagged that big boxes of clothes for distribution in San Marcos. The guys painted Maria's kindergarten and gave them 2 fans.
Friday, we relocated to Corinto Eco Resort and did come site seeing.
Saturday, we went to San Marcos to attend church in this mountain village. They are so remote that they don't have electricity. Most every one in the village received some clothes.
Sunday, due to a schedule change, the team visited La Ceiba and got to see some of the local culture.
Monday, we visited 2 schools. The team did a skit and shared the gospel. We took pizza and God blessed with more coming to faith in the Lord Jesus.
Tuesday, the group loaded the bus and headed to San Pedro Sula for the long flight back to Raleigh!

Vacation Bible School
THE JOY OF GIVING
Missions giving is critically important because it enables us to do so much to reach our community. Almost everyday, we host some one at our home. Most of the time, we provide a meal. Every Saturday, we feed about 50 hungry kids. We feed them both spiritually and physically.
As we expand to the San Marcos village, there are many challenges. Pray that God will raise up a pastor who can move to the area. We need to purchase the land where we meet. Then, we need a building to protect the people from the weather. Rainy season will be here soon. Will you prayerfully ask God how you should help?
